Frank Plasberg is a German journalist, television presenter, and producer. He was born on May 18, 1957, in Remscheid, Germany. He is best known for hosting the popular talk show Hart aber fair (Hard but fair) on ARD, the largest public broadcaster in Germany. He has been hosting the show since 2001.
Plasberg began his journalism career as a sports commentator for the German public broadcaster WDR in the 1980s. He later worked for several other broadcasters, including Sat.1 and RTL. He has also produced documentaries and other television programs.
In addition to his work as a journalist and television presenter, Plasberg is also an author. He has written several books on various topics, including politics, business, and sports.
Plasberg has won several awards for his work, including the Ernst-Schneider-Preis for economic journalism and the Goldene Kamera for television entertainment. He is married and has three children.
